None of the above is at all possible without excellent IT advice and support. C2 technology provides both. Any problems (which given how IT plays a central role in virtually all areas of the school could potentially be crippling) are easily reported and sorted out within hours if at all possible. The company is on call 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. As the company is so small we have confidence in the technician who comes to solve the problem and we know that this also means C2 staff develop a really solid understanding of not only the needs of the school but also of the staff who work there. Staff feel happy to share any concerns they have, meaning that the technical support goes beyond merely fixing problems into the arena of free onsite training. In short, the staff cannot do enough for you to help the school work as effectively as it can. They are an extremely important and valued part of the team that delivers an excellent education to the children. I have thoroughly recommended them to any other schools that come to visit as I think they give a gold standard service for an extremely reasonable price given the high level of IT used in the school.

 

C2 Technology have transformed the IT experience of pupils and staff at xxxx. They have done this by listening to our needs, sharing our vision and using the expertise to deliver excellence. The equipment we have at xxxx is very impressive and is widely used by all. Pupils and staff use IT to be more effective and efficient. They have confidence in the facilities. Pupils and staff find the technicians to be approachable, reliable and happy to share their wealth of knowledge. They strive for excellence.

 

Tony Zangoura and his team have provided xxxx staff with fast and reliable technical support from the moment we signed up with them. They are available to us on a 24 hour basis, coming in at weekends at times to ensure that any problems are resolved as soon as possible. They have also provided the school with training on key systems as required. Tony Zangoura has frequently provided me with support and guidance on ICT related issues, such as the best tables to order for the new PCs in the ICT suite or the most effective way to design communal learning areas. He has gone above and beyond the requirement of his designated role to help ensure that the ICT facilities at the school are of a high standard.

 

Numerous visitors, including international guests, never fail to comment on the outstanding ICT provision at xxxx.  Working with a number of other schools in various capacities, in London and further afield, has led me to confidently believe that the ICT service all of our Federation schools receive is simply unparalleled. 

 

Over the years, C2 Technology has provided an excellent service to ensure the children at the school have access to an amazing range of ICT tools and equipment. Any ICT issues I or other teachers have experienced have been dealt with very quickly and efficiently and always in a professional manner.  On a personal note I am very grateful to C2 Technology for the support and training I have received and for providing the resources required to allow the children I have taught access to an excellent ICT curriculum. 

 

IT was mess at xxx. The IT suite we had was virtually impossible to teach in. Someone should come and see the IT at our school now. From one dysfunctional IT suite with 15 PCs we have quickly moved to having 2 fully functioning 30-PC IT suites. We can finally teach IT and use IT to support literacy and numeracy.

 

 

The ICT provision at xxxx is of stark contrast to what I have personally experienced at other Hackney schools. It took approximately ten minutes for my classroom computer to start at the previous school I worked at. This waste of valuable time resulted in me feeling highly pressurised each and every morning; I could not access the lessons I had spent hours creating and resourcing for the day ahead without a significant delay. This problem was reported to the ICT coordinator (I was never informed who the Learning Trust technician was and never saw him on site) on my first day of employment but the issue was never addressed. Shockingly I was still experiencing the same difficulties two terms later. When I queried why such a wholly inadequate service had been provided, I was informed that the technician had never received information regarding the matter. This was undoubtedly because there was no system in place for reporting ICT related breakdowns or no recorded log (that had been shared with staff) to store requests to be processed.  At xxxx, the situation could not be more different. Our ICT technician is a regular presence who is known to all staff. Professional communication is therefore frequent and required aspects of CPD are often demonstrated onsite and at a direct level.

C2 Technology is committed to ensuring that all ICT equipment at xxxx operates to the highest standard on a day to day basis. The effect of this is a calm and structured working environment; all staff have access to the technology required to effectively fulfil their roles. Pupils are consequently exposed to dynamic lessons that contain appropriate visual images and other stimuli (such as video clips and on line quizzes) to enhance their learning. Due to xxxx being on the list of the worst 200 schools in England, daily high quality teaching and learning is fundamental and non-negotiable. Given that we are a school that relies on active ICT, C2 Technology undoubtedly plays a significant role in enabling this provision to occur.  I would highly recommend this company to other schools without reservation.

 

I have regularly reported problems (internet server down, interactive whiteboard not working) to the company upon my arrival at school at 7.00 am. Such issues have, wherever possible, always been resolved before whole-class teaching has begun at 9.20 am, allowing teachers to make full use of the technology available to them. This illustrates the way in which both members of the team have supported staff with a consistently high level of expertise and professionalism, working outside usual working hours to accommodate requests and to find solutions to ICT-related problems. As a result of this maintenance, IT facilities at xxxx are excellent. The computers in the children's computer suites are regularly maintained, as are staff computers: due to this service it is extremely rare that problems with software occur. All requests, however large or small, are completed quickly and efficiently, allowing the smooth day-to-day running of the school. 

Additionally, Tony Zangura has provided me with a great deal of technical support and training over the past two and a half years, to help me develop in my role as ICT co-ordinator. This has included software advice, training in video editing software and programming software and maintenance advice, all of which has better enabled me to do my job. He has gone above and beyond, responding to urgent requests at all hours and helping to ensure that the children of xxxx benefit fully from the wealth of technology around them. I would not possess the technical skills that I do, were it not for his support. 

I cannot praise C2 technology enough: the company's dedication, technical competence and professionalism are beyond dispute.

When Tony Zangoura began completing ICT work at xxxx , it suddenly made you realise how things should be done, how things could be done and finally things were being done... The provision of ICT equipment available to the children at xxxx  has significantly improved since Tony Zangoura/ C2 Technology began to work with us. We have moved to being able to teach children where they each have a computer to work at within the same room- just as we would not expect two children to share on exercise book, we now no longer needed to expect one child to share their computer with another. You could finally use 100% of the available ICT teaching time to teach ICT skills to 100% of the children in your class.
